There's no doubt she's recently taken her music to a whole new level, and Miley Cyrus' latest single "Who Owns My Heart" proves it.
In the video for her new song, Miss Cyrus is all about grinding up on both male and female club-goers, much
to the dismay of her more conservative fans.
Some may say the "Party in the USA" gal is following in the footsteps of Britney Spears- going from innocent, young teen to sexy dance party, ready for womanhood.
The song "Who Owns My Heart" is Miley's single from her lastest album, "Can't Be Tamed," which is all about girls empowering themselves.
She told MTV News, "It's just about freeing yourself from anything you think is holding you back. And I think that's really important, especially for girls, because so many people are told, 'No, you can't do something,' or, 'You need to be this because Mom and Dad say that, teachers say this.' "
Getting some much needed rest following a fun-filled night out, Miley Cyrus was spotted getting her day underway in Toluca Lake, CA on Friday (October 8).
Looking happy to be heading into the weekend, the Disney darling flashed the peace sing while clad in a cowgirl-inspired ensemble complete with denim short-shorts and fringy boots.
Stepping out the night before, Miley was spotted at the grand opening of Xandros Greek Restaurant on Thursday (October 7).
The songstress looked to be in good spirits as she posed for the shutterbugs in a wispy black ensemble outside the Beverly Hills eatery.
As for her music career, rumor has it that Miley Cyrus' next single will be her duet with Bret Michaels, "Every Rose Has Its Thorn."
Miley was recently named as Fave Movie Star and Fave Kisser at the 2010 Australian Kids Choice Award for her work in "The Last Song".
